Loading ...PROCYON ist an electronic dance music project from Berlin, Germany. The ”brain and hands“ behind PROCYON is Björn Michels. Björn is the guy who was always in charge of the music at parties since he started recording and cutting tracks from the radio on his good old doubledeck-tape-recorder when he was 11 years old. Later he switched to turntables and dj-ed at various clubs and self-organized parties in berlin. Actually he´s a graphic designer but he never lost his love for electronic music. Some years ago he started producing his own tracks – with Apple´s Garage Band which was nice to start with, but not the real thing.
So he decided to buy logic and some state-of-the-art plugins. Encouraged by winning three remix contest in a row after “practicing” only a few month he put more time and – hell, yes! – money in this “hobby” and now focuses on producing house and trance tracks and keeps participating in selected remix contests.
